Course Description

Scratch is one of the world’s most popular programming languages to teach children coding. Although it was developed for kids, it is being used to teach first year computer science students at colleges and universities such as Harvard and UC Berkeley. Students in grades 3 – 5 will learn and apply the fundamentals of computer programming through project based learning under the guidance of a knowledgeable instructor with a background in computer science

What’s cool: Kids learn how to program using a familiar “Lego Block” style software called Scratch. This is the best course for learning basic computer programming.
