  • Students grades 6-8 are eligible for scholarship
  • Date: Every Saturday, April 1, 2017 thru April 22, 2017 (4 weeks)
  • Classes will take place at Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee Valley Campus, 28237 La Piedra Road, Menifee, CA 92584
  • The United Way of the Inland Valleys scholarship will pay for the program fee (retail value: $124.99)
  • A total of five students will be awarded scholarships
  • Eligible school districts in Riverside County are listed on the application below
  • Parents must submit an application online and provide a response to the statement “How my child will benefit from receiving the United Way of the Inland Valleys STEM Scholarship”
  • Judges will determine the winners according to the best responses (Maximum 250 words)
  • Scholarships will be awarded on or before Feb. 28, 2017
  • Enrollment limited to one (1) course per student. Students will be assigned a course by Kids That Code
  • Scholarship recipients will be notified by email
  • Attendance for the first week is mandatory or the student will be dropped from the program and parents may be responsible for repayment of unused scholarship
  • Enrollment information will be shared with the United Way of the Inland Valleys for statistical purposes
  • Transportation will not be provided.
  • An hourly parking pass can be purchased on campus in order to park
