Winter Camp 2017 FAQs

Our winter camp is held at the California State University, San Bernardino campus in Jack Brown Hall. Please follow link for campus map.
The camp is 4 days in length from Monday, Dec. 18 thru Thursday, Dec. 21.
The camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Early drop off at 8:00 am each day. Pickup is available between 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Kids will have free time in the computer lab from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm while waiting for parents or guardians. Parents must pick up their children by 5pm.
The camp is open to children in grades 3rd – 8th
Regular Program fee per student is $449.99

Regular Sibling program fee is $399.99

Early registration discount fee is $299.99 per child before 11-05-2017.

The kids are put on teams and grouped together by age and skill level. Kids with exceptional ability will be matched with kids with similar skills.
No. Our TechXplortiion winter camp will be filled with fun activities during our lunch break such as playing board games, billiards, or Xbox and Playstation games in the student gamers lounge.
No, lunch will not be provided. Kids should bring a lunch. The campus food court will NOT be open. Vending machines are available to purchase snacks.
Our campers will need the PC version of Minecraft in order to play on our private server and take part in our lessons. Minecraft versions for the Xbox or Pocket Edition are not compatible. You can purchase a license at

Yes, returning TechXplorers will be exposed to new and fun projects using some of our favorite platforms as well as introduction to exciting new software.
Yes. Our instructors receive a full background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and they are fingerprinted with the Department of Justice (DOJ).
