Dr. Michael Stull has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and business experience that includes work in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He has served as the Director of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at CSU, San Bernardino. Under his leadership the program has raised over $28 million in grants, contracts and sponsorship and achieved national acclaim, including ranking as the #4 graduate entrepreneurship program in the U.S. from The Princeton Review & Entrepreneur Magazine.
Monica Estrella has a wealth of experience, knowledge, and motivation in promoting entrepreneurship. Her experience over the years includes business ownership, small business consulting to over 1500 businesses, speaking and instructional engagements, White House Briefing speaking engagements, and international economic delegate projects. Monica has helped start various programs throughout the Inland Empire including the Distribution Management Association’s Scholarship and Internship Programs and the IECE Fast Pitch competition at CSUSB.
Dr. Paul Kirwan has over 10 years’ experience working for and supporting entrepreneurial ventures. He worked for six years at the Dutch Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship (Nikos) at the University of Twente. He explored the network development of microsystems and nanotechnology firms in Europe and the United States. He previously worked as a business development officer for a software development start-up company in Cork, Ireland.
William Donohoo brings over 40 year’s experience in the business world in large and small organizations. He is an MBA alumnus of Harvard Business School. He has founded eight companies. He was founder and president of the Gibson Group which was ranked #7 and #175 on Inc. 500’s Fastest Growing Companies. He served on the board of directors of West Indies Pulp and Paper in Kingston, Jamaica. Bill served on the Board of Directors for the Harvard Business School Association of Orange County. He has served on or currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
Scott Brovsky has been a Founder or Founding Executive of five tech startups including the VC funded mobile games studio Muti Labs and the Temecula based sports tech company NZN Labs/LIT Pro. Seeing the early promise of the iPhone and App Store, he put his own capital to work as an angel investor while at Brovsky Capital. Scott has a successful track record in launching and driving global product revenue for leading entertainment companies like Disney and Marvel. Scott has a Humanities Honors degree from The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Doug Kollnyer has 35+ years’ experience in sales management, business development, marketing, strategic planning, distribution and channel strategy, manufacturing and service operations, team building, and P&L responsibility. Doug has experience in large, medium and small companies, in several industries, including automotive, HD trucking and transportation, RV’s, real estate and construction. As an entrepreneur in a franchised real estate business he understands the challenges of building a company from the ground up.
Sean S. Varner, Managing Partner of Varner & Brandt LLP Riverside, focuses his career on assisting businesses and individuals, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business strategy, real estate strategy, transactions and general counsel work. He handles a variety of opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs, including critical transactions facing a diverse clientele including Fortune 500 companies.
Brian Hawley is chairman and chief technical officer at Luminex Software Inc. in Riverside. He is a past chairman and founding member of the Riverside Technology CEO Forum; a recipient of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering Honored Alumni Award; a member of the Bourns College Dean’s Council of Advisors; a member of the School of Business Deans Advisory Council; and past chair of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce board.
