Course: Creating the Wall Defender game in Roblox

  • Ages 8 - 13
  • Grades 3 - 8

Base defender games have existed since the dawn of the golden age of video games. Now it’s time to build your own! In this lesson, we go over how players can create a wall defense game in Roblox Studio. We utilize the Lua programming language to create and alter our game’s elements, going as far as cloning objects that no longer exist in the character’s view to create our enemies. Test your math skills against our position movement and randomization code, and see if you’re up for defending your base!

Requirements are provided in “Materials” tab in this course.
